Minions, minions, minions

I, myself is a fan of these adorable minions -- especially when they murmur certain Filipino phrases.

Battle of Tablets.. Who will win? Google Nexus vs iPad mini

The Google Nexus 7 is made by Asus and will retail for as low as $199, about the same price as the Amazon Kindle Fire. The difference is, the Nexus 7 offers way better hardware and specs. The Nexus 7 has a 7-inch 1280 x 800 high-definition display and will run on a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The rest of the specs include a GeForce 12-core GPU, a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, integrated NFC and 1GB of RAM. Google claims that the battery on the Nexus 7 lasts up to 9 hours on video playback. That’s quite impressive.

The new iPad has been and gone, sporting a chunkier and heavier build than the iPad 2, which left some wondering: what's with all the extra weight?


However, it looks like Apple may be about to aid those conscious of extra grams in their bags, as rumours hot up about a potential iPad Mini (or iPad nano, if you prefer) arriving later this year.

As the Amazon Kindle Fire steals the budget tablet show and with more small, cheap tablets on the horizon, such as the Google Nexus tablet, Apple may well want a bite of the, well, apple.


As for who will win this mini gladiator match? it's too early to say since apple hasn't confirmed the rumor yet. but I'm betting on google to dominate the 7" category.

K-Pop Dream Event In CdeO

The storm has passed.. another hurricane of an event is coming to town, Cagayan de Oro's K-pop dream. Local organizers who are Kpop Fans themselves thought of this one day only gathering to emulate or to at least keep up what the fan boys/girls are doing in Manila and Davao.

Local talents are expected to perform live at the activity area of SM City CDO (2:00 - 5:00 pm), singing and dancing to the beat of Korean Pop. the so called Hallyu Wave has taken it's waters to the city of Golden Friendship, making small ripples into big waves that will sweep Kagay-anons off their feet.
